The tradition of foxhunting on New Years Day on this Virginia farm dates back to the country’s founding fathers. This home is situated on the edge of this hunting trail and the property is already home to a bear's den, eagle’s nest, and of course countless fox dens. The home’s form is simple but conveys a series of additions added to the original lodge over generations of occupation. The stone foundation is a local field stone with the corner stone sourced directly from the property.
